I have the best hunny!!!
This last Tues. was our 8th anniversary. My husband had told me that he had this most amazing date planned for us. It was so amazing that we would "fall deeper" in love. So he tells me this two months ago and I have been counting down the days to this big date cause this is so unlike my cute hunny. So Sat. rolls around and he told me that a guy from work invited him to his wedding reception so he told me he wanted to run to that really quick before we did our date. So I got all dressed up in my cute church digs and off we headed to the Joseph Smith Memorial building to the reception. On the way there he calls his buddy from work to get the details of where to park and what floor it's on. So we get there and park and we start heading up to the 10th floor. We get up there and there are some very nice resturants on the 10th floor and a gorgeous view of the temple and Salt Lake City on this floor as well. So hubby says lets look at the view before we go to the reception. So we head over there and look for a minute and he wraps his arm around mine and says, "do you want to join me for dinner?" I about crapped my pants seriously because the dinner place he invited me too was a nice nice place called the "Roof" and you have to dress up to go. I have always wanted to get dressed up for dinner and be a Princess for a night. Let me tell you, it was so amazing. I LOVED it!! It was such good food and we had the awesome view from our table and afterwards we walked around temple square. It was so relaxing and so fun. I didn't want it to end. He pulled a sly one on me telling me about the reception when there wasn't one at all and the fake phone calls was good. I have to tell ya, Burke and I have been through so much in our 8 years of marriage. Some good some bad some trials and some major accomplishments. We both have grown so much through all of it. I can't see myself doing it with anyone else. He is an amazing person who has made me such a better person and the person that I am today. He has been my big support in being a wonderful mom and support in my "dollies" that over rule the house~haha. Thanks so much for all you do hun!! You are my "little Burke" :0)
