Happy Halloween

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!! This is a picture of the ghouls that were at my house last year. They all had a great time. I'll post pictures of this years little ghouls again. Bundle up, stay warm and eat lots of CANDY CANDY CANDY!!!! ;)

painting halloween pumpkins

This year we decided to just paint our pumpkins instead of carving them so Kaylee wanted mom to try her hand at painting a snow white pumpkin. I have to say that was the hardes thing I have ever painted and she's still a bit special~haha. Gage did a really good job at painting a skull for his pirate of the caribbean pumpkin. He was so proud of himself. He's quite the artist.

The top picture is of our bedroom. We hung a new chandelier in there and put a dimmer on it. The middle picture is the hallway which Gage is such a goof!!~lol and the bottom picture is of my swap from Thimbleprims Studio's. My computer the other day would not load photo's onto my blog but today is my lucky day. Thanks so much for the fun swap!!!

Cindy, wow, girl you spoiled me rotten. We did a frog swap together and my cute package arrived on Friday. I was so excited especially since my tooth was hurting so bad. I got this cute princess frog of which sits in my little girls room. She went nutts over it. I got some cute frog erasers from Japan, a cute little frog animal, a sock monkey, ( I remember having one in my room growing up) stickers, tags and a fun pattern book. Thanks so much Cindy. We will have to swap again :)

winter fun.....

I got a couple of new dolls for winter done today. I have decided in my madness of working on the house and crafts that I have a form of ADHD.~hahaha. And I thought it was my husband who had it. It was fun though to work on a craft. I've been missing it. Painting the walls isn't quite like tole painting.

Well the garden is offically done for the year. I cleaned out the rest of the pumpkins and Bridger thought the dirt tasted great. He's such a big helper. The rest of the bunch thought football sounded good.

my new kitchen floor and paint

The top picture is of my old floor. I just got my new laminate flooring today. I'm so excited. It looks even better in person. I painted all this week and got it all ready for today. I did a red accent wall and the rest of the kitchen is in mustard yellow. I'm excited to have the trim put in on Monday so then I can decorate the kitchen all up.

I got spoiled

I participated in a swap from a good friend of mine Diana from Hidden Primitive Farms. She spoiled me so much as she always does. She loves me :) I got the cutest witch, a cute cat bowl filler and candy corns. Got a really cute fall towel which will look so cute in my new kitchen as the floor is coming in on Friday. YEAH!!!! Got loads of candy, candles and a cute ceramic pumpkin. Thank you so much Diana. You have been such a sweetheart of a friend to me. I hope you enjoy your weekend!!

my old but new computer table

I decided that after 4 years of living here that I would fix up this old computer desk that was left in our shed when we moved in. I've been storing the computer at the bar in our kitchen and now that we need to use the printer more with school functions and church things I wanted to free up my bar. So the other day after mowing the lawn I got this hair brain idea to pull this old desk out and redo it with some of the old paint I have and since I've been painting like crazy in the house what's one more thing~lol. I think I like the way it turned out. I have this old beat up chair that went great with it. The top picture was a before shot. It actually has primer on it. I forgot to snap a shot of it in it's old wood form. I think besides making dolls I really love to redo and antique furniture out. Now if I could only make a living at it~lol

finally after 15 months

Bridger got his first hair cut. He didn't care for it at all but he looks like a little boy now. He was so cute sitting in that chair. They sure do grow up fast!!!
