Which it doesn't help that the weather is raining either but earlier today Kaylee asked me if I had invited Ariel from Disneyland to her birthday party. Mind you we went to Disneyland about a year and a half ago and had lunch at Ariel's Grutto because the woman does not walk the streets of Disneyland since she has her own restaurant and of course Kaylee's favorite princess is Ariel and that was the only reason this poor girl went on some scary rides was in hope that she could meet her and of course by the last day we never saw her now matter how long and hard we stood in line at the princess gathering fair so mom and dad gave in and surprised her with lunch at her restaurant. The dumbest but yet best 100 dollars I spent by the way. Well she was so funny about it this morning asking if I had even sent a invitation to her. So I got to thinking because I'm CHEAP and won't pay for a fake princess to come to the party I decided to make a cute party dress for her Ariel doll and got a little gift (found at the thrift store mind you) for Ariel to give her. I lucked out and found an Ariel head that Kaylee can do her hair with. Walmart had a fun play blow drier and curling iron set as well to go with it so hopefully Kaylee is happy with the compromise. I'm going to keep the dress a secret and dress Ariel in it the day of her party. I even did shoes which I have decided hot glue and I are just messy and I always seem to burn myself in the process. I try ;)
