I had a little fun today with a crappy piece of canvas I had that was half painted and really should have been thrown out or something but I thought I would play around with it. In our home Stitch comes instead of the easter bunny. It's a long story but just know we are a special family~haha. Anyways, I have always like art but I could use a few classes to get me much better than I am so I'm thinking this next winter of maybe doing a class or two. I had fun this afternoon doing him and I have to say I'm somewhat proud of my accomplishment. I colored him with some colored pencils. I think the kiddos will have fun with it.

but that is a good thing~lol. I've been working like crazy to get a few things done for my show that is only 3 weeks away. It has come up on me fast!! I have decided a few more hours in the day would be perfect! I made up some chunky wood ladybugs, frogs, chicks, strawberries and birds. I think though my poor brain needs a rest with all this thinking of what to do~haha. My kids are out this week for spring break and of course it's raining and snowing this week. So much for spring but hopefully it clears up for Easter. Happy Spring Break!! If any of you want to do a craft night hollar at me and lets get together and do one. I'm in need a girls night :)

I'm a day late and a dollar short as usual it seems but Kaylee turned 6 yesterday. I can't beleive it. She has grown up so fast!! My little 3 pound premiee is now 6 and doing awesome. She got a Disney Princess and Me Rapunzel doll from the movie Tangled yesterday which is just loves along with her other dollies of course too:) I've also been super busy this past few weeks sewing up a storm. My good Friend Cornia made this fun quilt with spring flowers, well I decided to copy the idea and make a dovet cover for my bed. It was made using two thrift store sheets. I sewed on the flowers and ribbon on top to tie it up for for a total of ten dollars I got a new cover. LOVE it!! Thanks Cornia for the fun idea. I also been sewing up some doll clothes for my upcoming show next month. These shorts even have working pockets. I'm pretty proud I must say. I bought the pattern from Liberty Jane and I must say they are easy peasy patterns.

Which it doesn't help that the weather is raining either but earlier today Kaylee asked me if I had invited Ariel from Disneyland to her birthday party. Mind you we went to Disneyland about a year and a half ago and had lunch at Ariel's Grutto because the woman does not walk the streets of Disneyland since she has her own restaurant and of course Kaylee's favorite princess is Ariel and that was the only reason this poor girl went on some scary rides was in hope that she could meet her and of course by the last day we never saw her now matter how long and hard we stood in line at the princess gathering fair so mom and dad gave in and surprised her with lunch at her restaurant. The dumbest but yet best 100 dollars I spent by the way. Well she was so funny about it this morning asking if I had even sent a invitation to her. So I got to thinking because I'm CHEAP and won't pay for a fake princess to come to the party I decided to make a cute party dress for her Ariel doll and got a little gift (found at the thrift store mind you) for Ariel to give her. I lucked out and found an Ariel head that Kaylee can do her hair with. Walmart had a fun play blow drier and curling iron set as well to go with it so hopefully Kaylee is happy with the compromise. I'm going to keep the dress a secret and dress Ariel in it the day of her party. I even did shoes which I have decided hot glue and I are just messy and I always seem to burn myself in the process. I try ;)

Gage's Baptism Day

Gage turned the big 8 on New Years Eve and now was old enough to be Baptized into our church on Saturday. He was super excited. He looks so grown up and is acting more and more grown up as time goes on. It was a great day spending it with good friends and family. I think it is a day that he will never forget. Looking back, I was baptized 10 years ago in February. I did not think that 10 years later I would have a child making the same decision as I did. I'm so proud of him.

It has been so busy this past 3 weeks it seems. WE started out with Christmas, Gage's 8th birthday on New Years Eve and this Sat. is his upcoming baptism. He has grown up so fast on me. We had a little birthday party for him on Friday. He loves (besides pirates of course) Phineas and Ferb from the Disney channel so we did a little phineas and ferb party for him. It's been a fun few weeks but I have to admit I'm looking forward to some down time.

Here are the kids Christmas morning opening packages. Burke on the other hand is busy playing the new wii we got. I have to admit it's fun playing the "old" Mario brothers that I had as a kid. I need to get the wii fit now to work off this extra fat from the yummy treats we have gotten :) Gage this year got a bunch more Pirates of the Caribbean toys and star wars legos. Kaylee got an American girl doll (Thanks to the thrift store having one for 2.00) and a couple more disney princess dolls. Bridger got some Toy story toys and Cars. Those seem to be his favorite right now. I got some Ugg type boots and a big picture of the Logan Temple. It was a great Christmas all in all.

Kaylee had her dance recidal today before school. She has been taking Ballet since the summer and is loving it. Today they did the nutcracker which is one of Kaylee's favorites as she love to watch the Barbie and the nutcracker movie at Christmas. She did such a fun job. The last picture is of her and her teacher and best friend Makayla. They did a little Christmas party afterwards too.

Kaylee's Cheerleading

A neighbor of mine asked me a couple of weeks ago if we would sponder a Layton High Cheerleader. So in return for sponsering her she and 200 other girls got the chance to be taught how to be a cheerleader last week and got to perform at the game during half time. Kaylee had a lot of fun and did good cause Layton won the game.

I just finished up these two last of the princess dresses. I did the Just one Kiss dress from Princess and the Frog. It's hard to tell from the picture but the ribbon is so pretty in person. So glittery. The other dress is Sweet Tinkerbell's dress. It was so fun and thought it was cute too. Remember all dresses are up for grabs if you want any for the upcoming holidays. I got my Halloween stuff out today and was thinking Christmas isn't too far off. I don't know where this year went at all.

but I was playing with her Christmas present today. I found this doll which happens to be the real deal American Girl doll at the thrift store for 2.00. I cleaned her up today and tried on this minnie mouse dress for the craft show. I even did matching shoes :) I found this fabric and JoAnn's and thought it would make the cutest minnie dress so lets see how it does I guess. I'm not sure though if I'm totally loving the shoes. What do you think?

I have to admit I LOVE that new Kenny Chensey song the boys of fall. I got this cute pattern from Craftaholics and made him for my upcoming show in November. I've been working like crazy on Christmas/winter items and this was the only non winter item I did. I thought he turned out cute. I'm going to start on some more Disney princess dresses for the American girl doll as they went like hot cakes at my show last week. It was a great show. My sweet husband took off Friday, Monday and yesterday off from work so we have enjoyed having him around but I had to get back to work on craft show items. I set up yesterday for my first fall show of the season which I forgot to take pictures of but the booth turned out really cute. I'm crossing my fingers for a good show. I did manage to get some snowmen going before and during my hunny's vacation. It's been really hard to get into the winter mode of things as I HATE winter but I'm having a hard time thinking it's fall too. Where did summer go?? Anyways it's still warm enough to hang some doll bodies out to dry in their tea juice :) I think my neighbors think I have lost it for sure.

1st day of school

Yesterday was the first day of school for the kids. Kaylee headed off to Kindergarten and Gage 2nd grade. It seems the summer went by so fast but the kids were so excited to head off to school. They were ready to go. Kaylee had her outfits for the next week picked out and Gage has his books he's going to read all ready and lined up in order. All in all they had a great first day and both are excited for the new year. Bridger on the other hand, well it's hard to be two ;)

We bought this buzzlight year doll back when Gage was Bridger's age maybe even younger. Well he would talk and such and today Buzz offically died after being in our home probably 7 years now. Bridger has really liked Buzz lately mainly because I think he can say his name and he thinks it's cool. He's been trying to bring Buzz back to life all day. He went and found the screwdriver and batteries today. He's been pretty funny about it.

feeling productive

My kids I think are starting to feel very anxious with school around the corner and they are having such a hard time not fighting with each other so with that they were grounded to the couch with nothing for 3 1/2 hours before dad got home yesterday. It was nice, I know that sounds mean but I got so much done in the process. I finished this skelton doll who I sewed the body parts for 2 months ago but wasn't sure if I really wanted to do him for the show or not. I wasn't sure if he would have the cuteness to sell but I'm glad I did him anyway because he did turn out very cute. And he was so fast. In two hours I had him stuffed painted stained and put together. I should do more. He is from frogs to fairy dust pattern I think. I need to make the cute ribbon for him to hold that says boo. I did him different by just painting his face on instead of stitching felt on. I think I like him alot. I also before my surgery on Tuesday I finished Sleeping Beauty's dress. It was fun but I think the most challanging dress I have done. Kaylee has been drolling all over it. Her crown and necklace was made with foam that was glittered already. It's pretty cool stuff. I think I have wrapped up most of the fall items I'm going to do for the Barn show. It will be running in about a month. I have one more wood pumpkin to paint and I'm ready to go.

I faced my biggest fear and..

I get to do it again if I want.lol. I went in on Tues. for a Hysteroscopy on my uterus which my doctor used the term "surgery" which doesn't even go in my vocabulary because that is one of the biggest fears I have in life. I've never had surgery so the unknown is always scary but I needed to figure out what has been going on with me this past year. Call me crazy I know but we have been trying to have one more baby. Wanted to even the bunch of 3 kids out to 4 but this past year I have been having miscarriages and other issues. I went to a new doctor who said looking at an ultrasound that I had a mass of something in my uterus and he wanted to do this hysteroscopy to find out what exactly it is and get it out. Well that requires you to be put under and then have this scope put "up there" and then remove the mass. Well they found that I have a septum which is a piece of skin in the uterus that divides it which normally no one has. Most people with a septum have miscarriages (which explains the few I have had this past year) and if they are able to keep the pregnancy they usually have premature babies which explains Kaylee some and possibly Bridger's complications with pregnancy. So all in all I got that I'm very luck to have the 3 kiddos I have. The doctor wants me to see a fertility specialist to have more invasive surgery to remove the septum which he says sometimes it's no good either because then you have scar tissue to deal with and the placenta try to attach right too. So we will see what he says in a month or so and maybe go from there. But I was quite proud of myself actually going through with the procedure cause I had myself talked out of it many times. From what Burke said I made him laugh pretty good once I was coming too. I kept asking him if I was crazy since they didn't find anything persay. I've had a bad cold this past week so my voice sounded really great on top of it all. I have decided though with all the sickness I have had this past year I'm over due for a long vacation to get away from life and deal with reality later lol. Mexico is looking pretty good~haha.

Happy Father's Day Burke and the big 30 for me tomorrow. Wow, it's been a week. My baby turned 2 today. He loved his cake and new toys to play with. Burke was a kid in a candy store himself getting some new tools to use on the cars. He's learning how to fix the cars. I'm so proud!! And me I turn the big 30 tomorrow. I've had pnemonia this past week and I had to say that I was beginning to think turning 30 wasn't so fun so I was thinking I wanted to go back to 20. I think that's my new birthday wish~lol. Turning 30

Well I have decided that after having the swine flu this week and strepe earlier this year and 2 miscarriages this year also that my body is falling apart and turning 30 sucks. Too bad I still have til the 21st before I really am 30. I think I want to be 20 again. From what I remember I was healthy and was able to stay up til 1 in the morning. Of course by 22 I had my first kiddo and lights have been out since 9.lol.

A day at Disneyland

I had forgotten these were on my camara but a couple of weeks ago for our anniversary my kids wanted to do something for my husband and I. So they came up with the idea that they would take us to Disneyland. Well they went and got all their disney plush toys and put them out throughout the house. They came and got hubby and I and took us on a tour. I think in some way this was a little hint too that they miss Disneyland and want to go back. It's a good thing they have mom convinced cause I want to go back too!! :)

Kaylee's preschool graduation and Gage's spelling bee

Yesterday Kaylee had her preschool graduation program. Seems so weird to think she will be heading into Kindergarten August 23rd. This year has flown by!! Gage also yesterday made the 1st grade finals for the spelling bee. He's in the last picture. He's the very last kiddo on the end. He and a bunch of kids won the spelling bee. I can't beleive how smart the kids are these days. They are so much more advanced than I was in school. Mom's going to need a tutor come 3rd grade haha.

A busy week

This week I decided to paint Kaylee's room since my hunny has next week off so we repainted over the yellow room with the flower garden and made it a pink Princess room. Took a good 3 days but it's all done and looks great. Makes me want to be 5 again myself. I think the vinyl lettering took me as long as it took to paint the room itself.

Bridger has an infactuation with vaccum's. I had to buy a new one a couple of weeks ago as mine that looks like this one died. Well Bridger had a bond with that vaccum and hasn't liked my new one at all. Well I was at the thrift store today and saw this mini version of my old vaccum so I picked it up for Bridger for his upcoming birthday in June. He's in 7th heaven now having his "old vaccum" back and the big bonus too of it being just his size. He is so funny too, as he would pick up anything and push it around like a vaccum. I guess I can't beat a 2 dollar find.

I'm so proud of myself. I bought this Disney Princess Simplicity pattern on making princess dresses for the American girl doll or in my case the Target girl. So I thought I would use the pattern and try to make a Princess and the Frog dress as Kaylee just LOVES her. So this is what I came up with. It was alot of fun but a big learning process for me too. Nutt (from Imseeingraggedies) and I decided to do a fun doll swap. We did an americana theme and this is what I came up with. I decided to redo a doll I did Kaylee a little while back for her room and make her from being a garden fairy to Princess Aurora from Sleeping beauty to go in her soon to be new princess room. She was a bit challanging but fun to redo. I'm excited to see her in the room when it's all done. I got a couple of frames that I'm going to paint up and need to get her a new shelf as well. I found some cute disney princess scrapbook paper that I thought I would put in the frames and make a little scrapbook page of her meeting the princesses when we went to disneyland last summer.

I realized today that I have a wedding reception to go to tonight and one next week so I racked my brain trying to figure out what to get. It seems I get invited to the showers and then the wedding so trying to come up with something different from the shower is hard to do so I thought I would try some of these chunky ladybugs and a bag of chocolate chip cookie mix. These kids that we taught in sunday school are growing up so fast. Although I seem to be stuck in the same boat of having young kids and babies~lol

I finally remembered to take my camera on Sat. and snap some shots of Gage's soccer game. The lost the game but he still has alot of fun playing. Bridger get's a bit jealous as he wants to be out there with the ball too. I lost Kaylee at the big toy area. She found a few little girls to play with. She's quite the social bug.

I'm getting ready to repaint Kaylee's bedroom about the end of May when Burke is taking time off so I decided to get some of her furniture redone. She has this old bench of mine in her room for her Minnie Mouse's to sit on so I decided that it needed to be redone so inbetween soccer and soccer pictures I managed to finish it today. I think it turned out great. I'm going to redo a shelf for her and a doll and make it into the Princess Sleeping Beauty for her. She wants the princess theme still so I thought I would try and do both a cute retro type girl room with the princesses. She was excited to go to the paint store and pick out pink paints. Now if I can get her to just pick one ;)

Do you ever feel like you can't seem to do or say anything right with friends or family or just wish you could be that better person at times and that change would be good?? Well I'm there. I keep thinking change would be so good right now in my life. New house new adventure try moving out of the city you grew up in atleast~haha. Well I got to thinking that if money would be no issue what would I change? What would I do and what would I think I would love on a daily basis. I would of course never change hubby and the kiddos as life would never be the same without them but I think this is what I would do: I would trade in my lovely sport's car red mini van (which by the way every car we own is red and everyone notices that we are the red car family) for a new Camaro. Yep, I don't think I would miss the mini van much ;) I would also trade in my lovely home which we seem to have over grown already for a nice house on the beach. I think I could handle listening to the water every morning and sitting in the warm sand and sun in the afternoon. I may even learn how to swim that way which I've decided before I die (this is on my bucket list) to learn how one day. I also would have my horses back in my life and I have always wanted to ride a horse on the beach. There is just something romantic about that. Call me weird I know~haha. Anyways, I saw this post on facebook that the question posed what would you change or want in your life and it got me thinking while I was finishing up some projects of what I think I would love. Who knows I guess. I may not like it after all ;)

craft show here I come....

I've been working on getting some last minute craft show items done. I had a thought of some ideas yesterday of more things to make up so I cut up some wood and have been working like mad to get it done while the weather is still good and the paint can dry outside. I made up some dragonflies, butterflies and still have about 5 more little bug bodies to do tonight. This mod podge stuff is so fun. I hope the weather is treating you all as good as it is us Utahn's. I'm excited for summer to stay :)

So I feel I probably post more pictures of Bridger than poor Kaylee and Gage but lucky Bridger gets to hang out with mom it seems more than the other two since they have school and friends. Well Bridger thinks he's so funny and loves to go and hide in dad's closet and yell out my name. Too bad mom's a little smarter than what he thinks as I can find him still. I think this is such a fun age, but I have also found each stage of life is fun too. I wish I could bottle up some of this fun goofyness and keep it for those moments when you need it.

If you having one of those days just dress up in your sister's new easter clothes, go hide in a small closet and suck your fingers and ponder life. It makes you feel better :) haha. We had a great easter this weekend. It was cold outside so we just hung out inside did a little easter egg hunt ate a bunch of candy and watched TV. I guess it doesn't get any better than that. Each of the kiddos got a stitch from Lilo and Stitch. They were excited and are still having fun with their new "pet". We are on spring break this week but it's raining already. Hopefully by the end of the week it will warm up some. We could all use some fresh air and sunshine.

I'm a bit confused. We got a good couple of inches of snow last night and it's suppose to continue on today. We get a break tomorrow and then it's back again for the weekend and on and off all next week. The kids are out of school all next week for spring break. I guess we could go sledding??? Go figure. Where is spring? Send it to Utah if you know where it's at.

Sat. my good friend Marie invited me and the kids over for a easter party. She had some fun games and a easter egg hunt. The kiddos had so much fun. I still can't get over that Easter is this Sunday. Yesterday for Kaylee's birthday I had made her this pillowcase top, as you can tell kind of in the picture below, that looked like Minnie Mouse's dress. I found these cute mickey gloves at Walmart and thought she would have fun with them with her new minnie outfit. Well Bridger thought they were great and decided to take them over. I have a "mini" mickey mouse running around my house now. As the older he has gotten the more he reminds me of his dad with his goofy funny personality.

So as most of you know I started miscarrying last week which I'm still dealing with but I decided to make it even more fun by adding a bladder infection to the mess-haha. I have never had one so it's been a fun expereince so far. Oh well. I will be a new woman right when it's all said and done. My run of good luck winning blog giveaways has been awesome. A way to end the week

Well I have to admit the beginning of this week really sucked and it's been a really long week but today it seems it ended fairly well. I found out on Monday that I won Jess's cute doll giveaway (Little Dirt Lane) and she showed up today in the mail. I had to laugh at the second picture of Miss Lucille as it's kind of a Where's Waldo effect with her dress and the quilt. She is darling Jess. Thanks so much!!! I have her sitting on my new desk I finished up yesterday. I found this desk at the thirft store for 4.00. Bridger has ruined my cabinet holding some of our DVD's so I thought this desk would be perfect. It was super ugly and on Tues. I decided before all my miscarriage came about that I would take my frustration out on this dang desk. Well yesterday I was feeling somewhat better and all I had left to do from Tuesday's frustration work was to just mod podge all the scrapbook paper on. It was such a beautiful day yesterday morning before the storm came in yesterday afternoon that I decided to soak up some sun and mod podge outside. So today I moved all the DVD's in and it now is a great place for my new dollie to sit on. I also decided to make an apron to sell for my spring show coming up today. I can tell you my heart and soul wasn't quite in it and was glad when my last stitch was done~lol. I've been feeling sick again today. I figure once I ditch this cold and this miscarriage stuff is done I'll be a new woman!!~lol. Oh well. I hope you all have a great weekend. Thanks for the sweet words and thoughts. It has meant so much during this hard time of life.

I have to talk.....

I had some news yesterday that came to me that has consumed my thoughts and feelings for the past day. I'm saddened but yet still puzzled. I went to the doctor yesterday for my first baby appointment. For the first appointment they always do an ultrasound. Well they went ahead and did one for me yesterday and nothing.....no baby. I have a placenta, fluid and a great home for a baby but no fetus at all. I have never heard of such a thing in my life until yesterday. From what I'm gathering my egg was abnormal and when it got fertilized and started to seperate and do it's job the part of the egg that creates the "home" persay was okay but the fetus part was so messed up that the cells and chromosones and such couldn't do it's job. On the other hand there is a 50/50 chance that maybe I ovulated late and the baby is too small to see right now as I could only be 4-6 weeks along instead of 8. My stomach feeling is I don't have a baby. I go on the 15th to find out and to figure out where to terminate the pregancy because of no fetus or not. If that is the case and my body hasn't miscarried what I have then I will have to have a D&C flush done which after researching it yesterday sounds really fun to do.......My body today has bled some but nothing which I'm thinking is going anywhere. I'm a bit saddened but I'm ready for this chapter of my life to be over I think. I want to thank all of you for the kind comments on the pregnancy. It was so sweet of you all. Thanks so much for thinking of me..

that is I'm pregnant. Yep I said it. I will be having baby #4 (and the last one which is so hard to beleive as it seems I just got started.) in October. I go on Monday for my doctor's appointment. It has been hard for me to really realize that I'm having a baby as with my other kids I knew I was pregnant before even taking the test but this one I haven't felt pregnant at all so I'm still living in "lala" land of yeah sure I'm having a baby~lol. I'm hoping this pregnancy goes well as I tend to bleed alot with my pregnancies. Well Gage I didn't but the other two were pretty bad. I've spotted already which I should be use to by now but makes me a little nervous still. I guess it's my reminder that I am having a baby~lol. Anyways I thought I would share my new news. how to make dolls~haha. It has been so long since I've made a doll but I actually made 4 and one is still to come. I made these gals for spring for my show but if you ever think you want one just hollar. The three little ones are from a My Raggedy Dolls pattern and the big one is from my Bug Catchers pattern. I'm working on one of my Gracie's right now and I keep thinking maybe I will find a cute spring dress at the thrift store for her. I guess it's a good excuse to go and look ;) Happy Thursday everyone.

I made another quilt~lol. I found this cute vintage Mickey mouse sheet at the thrift store last week. The boys will be getting bunk beds this summer so Bridger is in need of a quilt for his soon to be big boy bed and since my mother in law was the quilting master and isn't here to help me out I did the best I could and figured I couldn't mess up a rag quilt too much. I had to laugh at my other two kids as they kept telling me that Bridger loves pluto and since there isn't pluto on his blanket that I should hand the quilt over to them. Poor Bridger already has to fight for it.

at the spur of the moment I decided to make Kaylee a quilt for her birthday that is coming up. I found some really cute Princess and the Frog fabric at Walmart and had some cute Ariel fabric and I had some minnie mouse fabric left over from her pillowcase top I made for her birthday too so I decided to combine it all together. I worked on it quite a bit last week and just finished it yesterday. About half way through this thing I decided that I should have done a rag quilt instead of doing this rag quilt with the football things on it. I was tired of sewing them all and cutting them but it was well worth it.~~Also thanks ladies for the fun ideas on the swap. I will probably do some sign ups next week sometime. I'm ready for spring to be here...

We had a great "LOVE" day today. The kids wanted to decorate my room again for their dad so Thursday after school we did just that. Burke had taken Friday off so I could help out with Gage's party which wow, I don't know how 1st grade teachers get their energy and patience. It was so fun though plus Gage isn't quite embarrassed of me yet~lol. Anyways since we went to Disneyland this past summer the kids live and breathe disney so they found a huge stuffed Mickey Mouse at the second hand store for their dad. We found some fun print out's of disney things on the disney family website to decorate him and my door up. They had so much fun. My friend LeeAnn is such a sweetheart and plays cupid every year. Today she left some fun gifts on my door for the kiddos and me. I snapped a couple of pictures of the gifts. Kaylee and Gage have been playing with theirs so I wasn't able to catch it in time. Burke got me a personal triple chocolate ice cream cake and a couple of wood craft items to do. All in all it was a great day. I hope you all had a great Valentines too :)

Who says I can't go to school

I think Bridger feels a little left out as he's the only one who doesn't get to put a book bag on and go somewhere. So when his sister gets home from school he grabs her coat and book bag and wants it on. He gives me a big kiss and waves bye. It's so cute!! When Gage gets home from school everyday without fail he grabs his brother's lunch box and he thinks he's heading off somewhere. He never forgets to give me a big smacker while he's at it. He has tried wearing his jacket and book bag but I think has realized it's too big for him and Kaylee is a little more his size. The sad thing is it won't be long before he really is heading off for school.

It has been forever it seems since I've been on the computer. My computer crashed last week which was okay as me Kaylee and hubby had strepe throat all week too. I guess it was kind of good as I decided to get a quilt going for Kaylee for her birthday. My first "big" quilt. Well I just wanted to let you all know I'm alive~lol. I have a couple of bugs to work out on the computer and I should be back to normal. I hope all is well :)

So about a week ago I came home from the thrift store with this cute pluto dog (which Bridger LOVES Pluto for some reason) and this dog could wag it's tail, bark, walk and shake it's head. Well there was a short in the cord and it didn't work so well. He tried like crazy to get me and himself to get this dog to work and finally I decided to see if I could find another. Well I got lucky and found one on Ebay for about 4.00 which these things are still going for 30.00 on the Disney store. His new dog came today in the mail and it's been all smiles ever since. Now for me I want to admit I have a problem. I'm a doll collector. I'm so glad I got that off my chest~lol. I got my cute valentines day ornie today from Grimitives and she is the cutest little thing I have seen. Not to mention the cute wrap job and such that Kaf did just to send her to me. She was a great Valentines day present.

projects, projects and....

more projects~lol. I've been busy the past couple of days. The weather decided to stay WINDY and snowy so I thought I would finish up projects that needed it. The two dollies are cute dolls that needed spring cleaning so I was at the thrift store yesterday and picked up some cute baby clothes for spring. They look cute huh? ;) I'm thinking that dressing babies that don't cry and poop is the way to go. Don't tell hubby I'm catching on to that idea as he wants one that's the real thing~lol. I also found that cute cabinet at the thrift store. It was unfinished so I brought it home and had to finish it up. I think I'm going to take it to the spring show as I tried like everything to find a place for it here at home but couldn't. I guess I have til the end of April to figure it out though :) The last is a picture I did from scrapbook paper and found the frame for a couple of bucks at the thrift store. I suprised my hunny with it. He was liking it. I think doing a scrapbook page and framing it is such a fun idea as there are so many cute pages out there. Well I hope you are all staying warm. This wind has just brought some snow in so it reminds me that it's still winter. Have a great weekend. (oh the dolls will be on my selling blog. Snow day fun

So I have to admit I'm not a big fan of snow but I have to say that this past couple of days getting snow in the morning and nice clear skies with sunshine in the afternoon has been wonderful. I did get my quilt that my husband bought me done on Monday. I have to admit this one went smoother than the first one but still not a pro quilter yet~lol. Yesterday a young lady from church came over and made some flowers for headbands, clips, and bobby pins for her mom's birthday which is on Monday. We had alot of fun and I'm so flattered that she would want to hang out with an old lady like me~lol. I also made a cute flower for my doll which I added on my selling blog today. I'm going to do a deal on her if you take her home for spring I will make a flower like she is holding for you to wear in your hair also. Just email me what colors you would like. Well I hope everyone is doing well. With the nice sunshine it's been making me want flip flop season to be here :)

my thrift store find

I was browsing around the local thrift store here yesterday and found this cute little kid's table. Well after looking at this lady's cute blog on redoing thrift store furniture finds she gave me some great ideas so when I saw this I got excited and had to have it. So I had to sand down the previous purple paint last night which I think that took longer than the whole painting and mod podge process. This morning I put some paint on and mod modged this cute scrapbook paper and saying. I think it turned out alright. I keep trying to think of ways to keep this table but I think I will end up taking it to the craft show this spring. It was alot of fun and it was great to use up some of this "test" paint that we had left over from trying to figure out what color to paint the kitchen.

my new sewing creations

So my dear husband thought this year for Christmas he would broaden my horizon's in the sewing world. He bought me a cute apron pattern with a kit of fabric to make it and a cute lap quilt pattern and some flower patterns for your hair and such. So with half of my family not feeling good this week we did alot of staying home and vegging so I thought I would get to these patterns as I was excited and nervous to try them. I have to admit that these are all a first for me as I have never made a quilt and finished this cute pink quilt yesterday. It was so much fun and such a learning experience at the same time. The apron is my second one I did. I did a "trial" one a couple of weeks ago and felt I did a good enough job to try the "real" one. I'm excited to say that I have enough fabric to make another so I think I will make it to take the spring show I have in a couple of months. The purse I kind of did on my own. They were all so fun and I'm excited to take some new things to the barn show this spring. I had to share my new things. I actually sewed something other than a dollie~lol

I know, we just got done with Christmas but I am itching for spring to roll around. I was at the craft store the other day and they have Easter items already out so that doesn't help my itching much~lol. My poor hunny and Bridger have been super sick with the cold so we've just been hanging out in the sicko house~lol. I did get my apron finished and a new purse. I'll have to snap some pictures. I'm thinking I may get some flower's made for some hair clips and such for the spring show. They are so fun. Hope you all have a great weekend
